3D Flower

An easy to make yet stunning flower that is perfect for displays or as a gift. This project upcycles toilet rolls.

Materials

  • 1 toilet roll

  • scissors

  • pencil

  • construction paper or scrap paper

  • glue

  • paint (optional)

Instructions

1. Cut slits into the toilet roll about a third of the way up to make many flaps. The more flaps there are, the better the flower will         look.

2. Bend the flaps backwards; these will be the petals of the flower.

3. With a pencil, trace the other end of the toilet roll onto some construction paper and cut the circle out.

4. Cut slits into the other side of the the toilet roll but only make a few slits so you get large flaps.

5. Fold these flaps backwards... you should get something that looks like a 3D flower now.

6. Now glue the circle you cut in step 3 into the center of the flower.

7. You can decorate the center of the flower or paint the petals.
