Bottle Cap Jewelry

Can be attached to a bracelet or put for display; keep a picture of something or someone valuable inside. This project upcycles bottle caps.

Materials

  • 2 bottle caps

  • scissors

  • scrap piece of paper and decoration material; aluminum foil (optional)

  • glue

  • tape

Instructions

1. Hold the two bottle caps side by side as shown below and tape them together from the outside. Make sure the caps overlap         when you close them. 

2. Then tape the caps together from the inside.

3. Decorate the outside of the caps. The best way to do this is by covering the caps with scrap paper and then painting over the       paper.

4. Now decorate the inside of the bottle caps. To make it look more like jewelry, us aluminum foil to coat the inside. Add a               picture of someone or something important in each bottle cap. Now you have a locket.

    By attaching string to this locket, you can quickly turn it into a bracelet.
