Mini Globe

A good gift idea or something nice to put on your table top. This project upcycles used egg cartons.

Materials

  • used plastic egg carton

  • scissors

  • scrap piece of paper

  • glue

Instructions

1. Cut out one of the egg carton pods.

2. Then trace the bottom of the pod onto a scrap piece of paper. Cut this out; it will be the base of the globe.

3. Glue the item you want in the globe onto the piece of paper. Here we made a bird out of plasticine and glued it.

4. Place the egg carton pod on top of the paper base and glue the two together.

    You can turn this into a snow globe by cutting up pieces of paper and adding it inside the globe during step 3.
